InterVision Company is seeking a **Cloud Principal Architect and Delivery Lead** (PADL) that would be responsible for architecting complex cloud-based solutions, selling these solutions, and leading the delivery of these solutions to clients. The PADL role is an exciting blend of solution shaping, sales and delivery with compensation benefits associated with the successful execution across all phases. This leader will be working as one of several PADLs in a mid-sized, geographically distributed Cloud Services delivery organization with engineers and clients located globally. PADLs will be working with client leaders and engineers establishing trusted relationships as part of the ongoing solution and delivery efforts with the client. This leader will work with sales teams as well as leading InterVision engineers throughout the solution and delivery process. They will work with solutions based entirely on public cloud architectures with the underlying rationale for architecture decisions that are based on industry standards (e.g., AWS Well-Architected Framework, Azure Architecture Framework). They will work with solutions that are built on complex hybrid cloud environments factoring in client on-premise requirements. This leader will discover, assess, mobilize, and execute large client migrations and will be expected to bring forward ideas on how to use the latest public cloud service offerings to optimize environments, reduce technical debt, and minimize operating cost. Having an automation-first focus in the implementation and maintenance of client delivered solutions will be essential.

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar, or a well-rounded professional background in IT Operations
* Minimum of 10-15 years working in the IT Industry
* Exceptional client facing and team leadership skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff; Experience creating and presenting client solution proposals
* Experience in building statements of work, estimates, staffing plans, and workplans for large complex cloud solutions including migrations.
* Experience leading teams in the successful delivery of complex cloud-based solutions
* Hold active AWS and/or Azure Associate or Professional certifications
* Experience managing AWS or Azure environments, including tasks such as environment architecture design, automation, network engineering, security, storage, systems administration, monitoring, incident response, configuration management, etc.
* Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Function as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape.
* Past working experience with Python or similar programming language
* Experience with IaC/configuration management using TerraForm, AWS CloudFormation, Azure RM Templates, Ansible, or similar
* Working knowledge of DevOps methods and CI/CD automation practices
* Working knowledge of containerization technologies and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
* Experience using discovery and migration tools such as CloudEndure, Azure Migrate, etc.
* Previous experience using AWS and/or Azure managed / serverless service offerings
* Strives to meet all team deadlines and fulfill responsibilities; listens to others and values opinions, promotes a team atmosphere
* Must have strong organizational skills to handle multiple concurrent projects with frequent interruptions and schedule changes.
**Desirable Qualification:**
* AWS and/or Azure Professional level and/or Specialty certifications
* Previous experience with software design and development; understanding of distributed microservices and serverless development architectures
* Experience with AWS and/or Azure SDKs, preferably in Python
* Experience working on the design and implementation of large data technologies and solutions that relate to data warehouses, data lakes and data marts.
* Working knowledge of virtual appliances used in the public cloud (PAN, Meraki, F5)
* Knowledge of agile software development practices and release management

* Perform the migration of customer workloads from on premises environments into AWS or Azure using techniques such as Rehosting, Replatforming, Refactoring, etc. depending on the customers needs; Recommend and design target optimized public cloud architectures for existing on-premises customer workloads
* Design, deploy and maintain enterprise class security, network, and systems management solutions within an AWS and/or Azure environment
* Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance plans for AWS managed service environments; Continually re-evaluate existing stack and infrastructure to reduce costs while maintaining optimal performance, availability, and security.
* Implement processes and quality improvements through task automation: Implement Infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automate security controls and alerts as well as routine maintenance tasks.
* Support the business development lifecycle (Business Development, Capture, Solution Architect, Pricing and Proposal Development)
