• Conduct Security Assessments: Perform detailed project security assessments (PSA) on applications and cloud migration projects to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders, technical staff, and governance teams to understand project requirements and communicate assessment findings effectively.

•Risk Management: Identify and evaluate security risks associated with applications and cloud migrations, and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate these risks.

• Policy Adherence: Ensure all projects comply with company security policies and risk management processes.

• Project Management: Manage multiple security assessments simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

•Leadership and Influence: Serve as a lead contact in supporting business stakeholders with project security assessment (PSAs) relying on influence and collaboration rather than authority.

• Advocacy: Advocate for the business units needs while maintaining a strong emphasis on security best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in conducting security assessments, particularly for applications and cloud environments.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of company policies, risk management, and security assessment processes.

• Independence: Ability to operate with minimal supervision and guidance.

• Collaboration: Exceptional ability to collaborate and build consensus with stakeholders across multiple functions.

• Leadership: Ability to lead teams through the security assessment processes.

•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate security risks and recommendations clearly.

•Organizational Skills: Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

•Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security risks.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security +, AWS Certified Security, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
