DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The position entails carrying out various routine manual tasks related to custodial care and grounds maintenance at the Roadside Rest Facilities/Clinton County Maintenance Facilities. This includes cleaning offices, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other related fixtures, as well as waste disposal and recycling duties. Responsibilities also involve landscaping tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, leaf removal, snow shoveling, and maintaining the cleanliness of outdoor premises and building entrances. Additionally, the role includes replacing light bulbs and conducting minor repairs on facility equipment, with any necessary repairs reported to the crew leader or supervisor. Work is conducted following a set routine and is subject to inspection to ensure that established cleanliness standards are met during and upon completion of tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
