General Purpose
The Senior Manager Learning & Development will lead the design, creation and delivery of high-impact and sustainable learning and development programs that support Nourias strategic goals and objectives.
In partnership with HRBPs, this role will work collaboratively with each department, the talent management team and with the senior leadership team to build a learning strategy which delivers sustainable and impactful development experiences and drives continuous improvement of the learning function.

Demonstrates advanced knowledge across the following: Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Leadership Assessments, Performance Consulting, Adult Learning Theory, Organization Effectiveness and Change Management
Demonstrates excellent consulting skills
Experience with executive coaching and development
Experience managing external vendor relationships
Experience working as an internal consultant in a matrixed organization is highly desirable
Ability to build trusted relationships with all levels of the organization
Assist in the development and implementation of leader and employee training programs including online, classroom-based, and blended learning
Use critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills to solve a range of organizational challenges related to organization development and learning
Demonstrate creativity and use effective problem-solving techniques that lead to developing and implementing new approaches and methods at every opportunity
Foster an environment of continuous improvement, best practices, lessons learned, and quality outcomes
Demonstrate flexibility in response to competing demands, shifting priorities, and organizational constraints
Measure and report on the impact of programs
Use evaluation data on an ongoing basis to revise and continuously improve programs

Essential Functions
Leadership : Own and execute the day-to-day management of learning staff, including motivating, coaching, and growing direct reports. Manage the creation of business requirements, project
plans/specifications,
research and business case development, reporting/analytics, and evaluation approaches, including communicating strategy, recommendations, and general updates to key stakeholders throughout the business. Provide oversight/input into the design, development, implementation and management of targeted programs, long-term learning needs, or other general projects
Consulting : Partner with HR and business leaders to identify, develop, and implement solutions targeting employee development and overall talent management solutions (identify, select, develop, engage, and retain)
Program Management and Support: Maintain and enhance a portfolio of existing and emerging learning programs and interventions through collaboration with clients and HR partners. Delivered within budget
Content Development : Design, develop and facilitate multi-platform content to support targeted learning and behavioral change using best practices in learning theory, learning technology, change management and communication (e.g. micro-learning, peer learning, action learning, blended solutions, learning portal management, toolkits, and marketing campaigns
Facilitation : Deliver quality training programs and development experiences through various platforms and methodologies

Qualifications And Special Skills Required
Bachelor's Degree
6-8 years L&OD experience -3-5 years directly leading a team
Advanced degree in Instructional Design, Learning, Leadership, Psychology, Organizational Development, or other related fields preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You must be able to write, design, and present training and communication materials to educate employees, influence action, or providing information to audiences that range from entry-level employees to senior-level executives
Experience facilitating training sessions, team building, and/or related activities
Prior experience with enterprise diversity and inclusion training design and delivery is a plus
Physical Requirements/Ada
Requirements: Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. The job also requires sitting, standing, walking, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Occasional Requirements: Job occasionally requires bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting to 10 pounds
May also require occasional driving and/or traveling overnight for business functions or site visits
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically
