What You’ll Do
This role is critical to the Cisco AI vision and strategy. Your primary role is to define, own and deliver cutting edge AI technologies and products using a strong mix of AI/ML product management, and technology domain competence, coupled with strategic vision and proven execution.
You will drive new incubation efforts in alignment to current and future AI based product offerings. You will work cross functionally with a world class team across engineering, marketing and sales, to define and drive AI/ML product products for OneX and beyond and roadmap and understand industry trends and competitive landscape relating to overall AI domain. We’re looking for strong entrepreneurial product managers who can think big and execute well in a dynamic environment. This role is part of a fun loving, diverse team, with an inclusive culture. Duties cut across the OneX organization to promote AI/ML products, business growth and customer lifecycle acceleration across Cisco. You’ll partner with Engineering, Research/Data Sciences, IT, Digital Transformation, Cisco business entities & our executive team.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, and execution of 0
1 AI platform and tools that leverage state of the art machine learning technology, defining an ambitious roadmap for product development and expansion in ambiguous and uncharted areas
Conduct market feasibility & readiness, assessment, industry research, Track VC & startup community in addition to following what large innovative companies are doing in the AI space.
Take complete product ownership and "Product-Market" fit.
Define the criteria for ideal customer for MVP and actively participate in defining GTM, working with key partners.
Establish Milestones & Metrics to evaluate the success and failure of the project.
Communicate and collaborate across a diverse set of both technical and business stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Product Management in best in class AI organizations, including successfully launches of zero-to-one products that have found open source distribution or commercial success.
Prior experience with successful execution of 0-to-1 AI platform and product development
Engineering degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in training, fine tuning, evaluating and productizing cutting edge AI models and technologies in large scale, distributed environments
Deep Understanding of the stack and emerging trends in AI/ML
Experience defining epics and writing AI focused user stories as well as design thinking and UX/UI best practices
Masters’ or PhD degree in computer science and/or Artificial Intelligence

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location. U.S. employees have
access
to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
