Bluegrass Orthopaedics is hiring for a full-time IT Support Specialist for our Lexington, KY location.
The Information Technology Support Specialist performs overall information systems planning, implementation and administrative procedures in a variety of IT functional areas. Provides operational infrastructure support, maintenance, troubleshooting to ensure optimum utilization of IT resources. Being an Information Technology Support Specialist involves hardware/software/vendor selection, cyber security, training, coordination and scheduling of IT initiatives. Additionally, an Information Technology Support Specialist typically reports to a supervisor. The Information Technology Support Specialist is occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.

Qualifications
1. Associates degree or 1-2 years work experience in a related field

Skills and Abilities
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Excellent time management skills.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
7. Proficient with GSuite/Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
8. Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers.
9. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinates and assigns work projects such as converting new computer hardware or software.
2. Evaluates expanding or enhanced computer operations; makes recommendations for improvement and upgrades to hardware and software to manage workload and system requirements.
3. Provides technical support identifying, investigating, and resolving users problems with computer software and hardware for problems that are beyond the expertise of Technical Support Representatives.
4. Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
5. Collaborates with other employees to research and resolve problems.
6. Collaborates with programmers to explain errors and/or recommend modifications to computer programs.
7. Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
8. Develops and communicates department projects and goals.
9. Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
1. Good visual acuity, hand-finger dexterity, ability to speak and hear.
2. Able to lift and carry in excess of 25 pounds, which may require pushing, pulling and essentially utilizing a full range of body movement.
3. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, grasp and stand for extended periods of time.
4. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

2. Understands and follows the Bluegrass Practice Responsibility Program, Code of Conduct
3. Completes all yearly compliance training and educational programs.
