Chief Financial Officer to join our team in Elkhart, IN. The

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

plays a crucial role in the financial management, strategic decision-making of the organization, and as a business partner to the CEO. As a key member of the senior management team, the CFO is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis. They provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and other senior leaders based on financial analysis and projections to support business growth and profitability. Strategic Analysis Uses a variety of information sources internal and external to the organization to identify issues and trends; studies financial, economic, and technical information to identify ways to achieve long-range goals or meet the vision of the organization. Job Specific Competencies: Strategy

Aligns as a business partner to the CEO; assesses organizational performance against both the annual budget and ACTIA's long-term strategy Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO Engages in finance, audit and investment activities Identifies issues, trends and changes in the operating models and operational deliverables Assists in establishing yearly objectives Selects and engages outside consultants (e.g. auditors, insurance brokers, 401k administrator, tax consultants and other advisors) Oversees long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with ACTIA's strategic plan

Executive Management

Serves as a member of the executive leadership team and a Corporate Officer Participates in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution. Assists in continual improvement initiatives and processes

Financial Planning and Analysis

Coordinates the development and monitoring of budgets Develops financial business plans and forecasts Prepares and maintains regular financial KPI reports, monthly profit and loss forecast Completes analysis of financial results and develops strategic and tactical recommendations Develops and executes analysis of various business initiatives Develops and maintains capital budget Performs ad-hoc analysis and assists in development of new reports

Finance and Cash Management

Oversees cash flow planning and ensures availability of funds Oversees cash, investment, and asset management Oversees financing strategies and activities; including banking relationships Develops and utilizes forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization's operations and business plans.

Policy and Relations

Participates in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team Represents ACTIA to financial partners (e.g. financial institutions, parent company, auditors, government and tax authorities etc.) Remains up-to-date on financial best practices and state and federal law regarding operations

Accounting and Administration

Oversees the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and function Ensures maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures Ensures timeliness, accuracy and usefulness of financial and management reporting Oversees the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements Coordinates audits and proper filing of tax returns Oversees preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements Reviews all month-end closing activities Enhances and implements financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems Serves as a final point of escalation for AR/AP, Payroll issues and provides support to collections activities Assists in maintaining appropriate cost and pricing structures Engages in margin and profitability review and leads cost reduction initiatives Serves as a key player in inventory control and drives reduction of obsolete and slow-moving inventory Approves purchase requisitions, ACH and Wire payments Serves as the key contact for external auditors Manages preparation in support of all external audits

Team Management

Supervises, mentors and manages finance staff to build an effective team dynamic Guides cross-departmental teams outside of direct span of control

Insurance, Real Estate and Legal Affairs

Manages ACTIA's insurance programs Manages ACTIA's real estate affairs (e.g. real estate and personal property taxes, negotiates new leases or lease renewals, coordinates with local Assessors' office on appeals and other affairs Represents ACTIA as a tenant of the Industrial Park Manages ACTIA's legal affairs and collaborates with outside legal counsel on legal matters

Legal Compliance

Ensure legal compliance with state, federal and OSHA requirements Ensure ISO procedures are followed Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications and Education Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance); a Master's degree is preferred CPA Certification Extensive knowledge and understanding GAAP and tax codes Experience managing finance and accounting staff Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills Experience in senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies. Significant experience in or knowledge of accounting, including financial reporting, compliance, KPI, and process improvement Working Conditions Movement This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on the production floor. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Operate/Use Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e. copier, printer, calculator) Ascend/Descend Rarely ascends/descends stairs to reach archived files Communicate This position frequently communicates with co-workers, managers and supervisors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Transport This position frequently lifts or moves 25 pounds, occasionally moves up to 50 pounds for various needs. Work Environment Relatively quiet but fast paced. Travel Occasional travel to Domestic and Global ACTIA locations, with overnight stays, may be required.
