FPA is currently searching for a full-time
Project Manager Geotechnical
for our
Wall Township, New Jersey office.
The ideal candidate will have NJ PE license and a minimum 10 years of successful service as a Geotechnical Engineer.

Core Responsibilities:
Assessment of sub-surface conditions and development of geotechnical design criteria
Developing engineering concepts, and articulation of the concepts to the team
Should possess the verbal and written communication skills necessary to manage projects,
Must be able to generate high level geotechnical reports for submission to clients as well as the preparation of proposals.
Identification of risks and risk mitigation
Leading and managing junior engineers and supporting their development
Liaising with various clients, attending progress meetings, and producing reports on progress
Design of building and bridge deep foundations, waterfront shoreline stabilization and foundation scour protection measures including sheet pile bulkheads, revetment systems, reinforced earth embankments and various channel lining systems.
Assist with construction phase resident engineering and project QA/QC support for specialized foundation construction and load testing, foundation underpinning, waterfront shoreline stabilization and civil/site work.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s from an accredited school of Civil Engineering
Must have NJ PE and a minimum 10-year history of successful service as a Geotechnical Engineer.
Experience with design of deep foundation and retaining wall systems.
Experience with construction inspection and administration.
Candidate should be able to perform field visits to assess site conditions.
Be able to drive to and from project/construction sites.
