The Marketing Specialist will embody a blend of creativity and strategic thinking in our team. This role is pivotal in elevating our brand within the catering and events industry. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our internal teams and our external marketing agency. Will be instrumental in aligning our marketing initiatives with our brand's vision, ensuring that our campaigns resonate with our audience and reflect our commitment to excellence in the catering and event planning industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for providing innovative and dynamic leadership in the areas of marketing, social campaigns, content creation and branding. Leveraging digital and traditional means, the Marketing Specialist will work hands on furthering the brand awareness of Ridgewells Catering with an end goal of continued business growth.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

CREATIVE DESIGN AND CAMPAIGN EXECUTION:

  • Leads the creation of marketing campaigns and collateral across various channels, including digital and print.
  • Continually adapts and innovates our marketing strategies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving catering and events industry.
  • Ability to attend events to create, capture, and edit video content for social.

MARKETING STRATEGY AND CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT:

  • Designs and implements comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with our brand's objectives and target key demographics.
  • Develops marketing campaigns with a focus on brand partnerships, event venue collaborations and customer acquisition and lead generation.
  • Stays informed on the latest marketing tools, applications, channels, design, and strategies.
  • Creates and maintains a robust content calendar, ensuring a strategic mix of marketing materials and campaigns.

BRAND AND PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT:

  • Fosters strong relationships with venues and other industry partners to enhance our brand's presence and reach.
  • Coordinates with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with broader business goals.
  • Upholds a consistent and compelling brand voice across all marketing channels, ensuring all content reflects Ridgewells identity and values.
  • Identifies and partners with influencers and industry leaders to broaden our reach and enhance our brand credibility.
  • Monitors potential brand issues and responds effectively to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Serves as e-commerce brand manager to oversee and implement integrated marketing efforts including website, social media, CRM, outbound email, interactive, promotional, and advertising communications from creative input through development, approval, and execution.

ANALYTICS AND PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT:

  • Analyzes the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data to refine and improve future strategies.
  • Regularly reports on campaign performance, aiming to maximize results and ROI.
  • Ensures marketing content is optimized for search engines, aligning with Ridgewells overall SEO strategy.
  • Develops novel approaches to increase brand visibility and audience engagement, particularly through targeted marketing campaigns with our Marketing Partner
  • Proficient in Google Adwords, Youtube and LinkedIn analytics

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:

  • Works closely with different teams, especially sales and culinary, to develop catering menus and packaging that support overall business objectives.
  • Ensures marketing efforts are well-integrated with the company's overall strategy and brand messaging.
  • Offers guidance and training to team members on best marketing practices, ensuring cohesive efforts across departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or related field.
  • Experience and understanding of catering and events industry.
  • Proven experience in a marketing management role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating skills in campaign development and brand management.
  • Excellent skills in content creation, graphic design, editing, and communication.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing analytics and tools knowledge.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to train others in social media and content creation including but not limited to graphic design, website creation and brand execution.
  • Strong Graphic Design and Social media skills
