We are expanding our team and ability to create and implement value-added solutions by adding an experienced consulting professional to fill a pivotal client-facing role, managing project risk and delivery. This opportunity is for a mid or senior experience-level professional looking to advance their career with a global environmental leader while working on capital

ERM is structured to encourage collaboration and networking among regional offices, providing opportunities to collaborate with ERM’s national Low Carbon Energy Transition (LCET) team to share expertise and consulting opportunities. Our many leaders proactively work together to build strategies and campaigns around key business drivers for our clients, with the primary focus on finding and delivering high-profile rewarding projects and building our business. As a client-facing position, the Project Manager will directly influence the Project’s and ERM’s success from proposal development through project delivery. Contribute technical, subject matter, or project management expertise on permitting strategies, due diligence reviews, environmental critical issues assessments, impact assessment deliverables, and overall quality control review. Demonstrating strong analytical skills, excellent writing and presentation skills, and a mastery of impactful client communication (i.e., technical, and commercial communication skills). Building strong and trusted relationships with clients and/or business partners. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field. 4-5 years of experience (7+ years preferred) in either a consulting environment or working substantially within the energy sector. Impact Assessment Expertise; NEPA EA/EIS, FERC, or similar agency experience. ESHIA (Environmental, Social, and Health Impact Assessment) experience is a plus. Understanding of ERM’s Diversified Energy Sector and the companies operating in this market, including existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business. Experience and desire to support commercial success with identifying new client opportunities, proposal writing, and identifying ERM cross-disciplinary service offerings. Demonstrated understanding of the energy regulatory environment, key regulatory agencies, and current and emerging issues. Attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work products. Demonstrated project management and leadership skills. Experience with line management and/or contributing to the professional development of other teammates.
