Description

This position will perform duties as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in an information assurance/cybersecurity work center supporting large computing systems and state of the art solutions to a wide range of technical problems for classified programs and projects supporting the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT), Corry Station, Pensacola, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Supports system design and troubleshooting data collection and delivery methods for real-time Cyber Defense Operations.
  • Implements Risk Management Framework (RMF), including Assessment and Accreditation (A&A).
  • Provides Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) support.
  • Maintains systems in accordance with DoD policies and procedures.
  • Maintains baseline systems in accordance with DoD Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements.
  • Develops Information Assurance (IA) reports.
  • Process System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) forms.
  • Utilizes Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for documentation management.
  • Utilizes ServiceNow (or Remedy) ticketing system for trouble ticket management.
  • Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to DoD agencies and internal customers.
  • Conducts risk assessments on systems, networks, Cybersecurity processes, and operations.
  • Ensures information is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, disruption or modification.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with remote customers.
Qualifications

Education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Required skills:
  • Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Knowledge of Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS) scans.
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Required certification:
  • Required to have and maintain current IAT Level II Certification (Security+ce, GSEC, GICSP, SSCP, CySA+, CND or CCNA-Security) in accordance with DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification & Management Program (formerly DoD 8570.01M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program) guidelines.
Required clearance:
  • Must have an active DoD-issued Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
