**Position Information**

Job Title: Loan Support Specialist

Department: Mortgage Banking Division

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Mortgage Operations Manager

Full/Part Time Status: Full-Time

Work Location: Los Angeles, CA

Travel Requirement: 0-10%

**Education & Experience**

Minimum Education Level: Associates Degree

Minimum Years of Experience: 3-5 years

Combination of Experience and Education can meet the job requirements: Yes

**Language Requirement**

English: Written: Advanced Verbal: Fluent

**Computer/Systems Knowledge Requirements**

Microsoft Outlook: Advanced

Microsoft Word: Intermediate

Microsoft Excel: Intermediate

Microsoft PowerPoint: Basic

Encompass: Intermediate

**Responsibilities & Duties**

* Ensure KYC form is completed before loan funding

* Ensure the KYC form is complete and accurate based on the documentation provided

* Upload completed loan packages to Globalwave

* File and follow up on trailing docs on loan funded or purchased

* Send out trailing docs as required to investors for loans not serviced

* Prepare Welcome and Goodbye letters for loans sold and purchased

* Send out required FCRA disclosures on loans that have credit reports pulled but not disclosed

* Complete the TOS/TOB transfers through MERS

* Monitor the correspondent loan pipeline to ensure files are within posted turn times

* Correspondent loan upload to Edgemac

* Correspondent loan clearing and approval

**Job Qualifications/Requirements**

Preferred: Two years college education in business related field or equivalent knowledge.

Preferred: Three to five years experience in residential lending field preferred.

Preferred: Proficiency in State and Federal regulatory requirements in a multi-state residential lending environment.

Preferred: Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred: Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred: Strong organizational skills with a willingness to adapt to change as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred: Ability to effectively work with department team members and other stakeholders.
