Within GR&S, the

Enterprise Security and Fraud

(ES&F) sub-division is responsible for the global protection of Vanguard crew, property, data, and client assets. We are the trusted advisors that protect the pride of Vanguard with state-of-the-art security and fraud capabilities.

The

Sr.Manager, Product Owner

will lead

a team

of Technical Product Owners that

are

responsible for the strategic vision and roadmap for a technical

security

product or products with cross-divisional impact, demonstrating a deep understanding of the product(s) and associated business areas

of value

. Products have enterprise-wide implications

and are part of the modernization effort of the Credentials-as-a-Service (CredaaS) multi-year program.

In this role, you will:
Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew. Provide guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
Oversee technical product management activities for multiple technical products, or one strategic technical product, with cross-divisional impact. Drives the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience. Ensures business outcomes are linked to business case drivers.
Provide guidance and coaches technical product teams towards best practices and learnings. Oversee product teams' support of the messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
Facilitate strong business support through working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions/impacts and client propositions. Drive connection across all appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the planning, development and implementation of new technical products with cross-divisional impact. Define and analyze markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
Influence and employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
Participate in and influence ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
Drive the teams engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
Minimum of eight years related business experience. Three years of

leading

large cross-functional teams on

major organizational projects preferred. Previous people-leadership experience strongly preferred.
Current certification in Agile CSM, CPO or SAFe Agilist.
Two years

experience in security domain, specifically in Identity Authentication & Authorization.
