About the Job

We are looking for an HR associate with exceptional dispute resolution and decision-making abilities and a thorough awareness of employee interactions, HR management, and some payroll and benefits administration. Top applicants will be excellent problem solvers and time managers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests as needed

  • Maintain employee digital and electronic records

  • Assist in completing compensation and benefit documents

  • Assist in benefits enrollment and updates

  • Assist in initiating and monitoring performance reviews

  • Assist with Leave of Absence updates

  • Orient new employees and update their records

  • Coordinate the onboarding process, including drafting offer letters, and conducting background checks

  • Complete separation documentation as needed

  • Processes status changes through the company and client payroll system

  • Processes benefit changes through the company and client HR system

  • Assist with EDD requests

  • Assist with Workers' Compensation claims

  • Process incoming mail and assign it appropriately

  • Assist with payroll processing as needed

  • Any other tasks relevant to HR duties and responsibilities

  • Occasionally assist the Sales team when available, in the capacity of an HR associate


Qualifications :

  • 1 year of experience as a Human Resources Associate is preferred.

  • 1 year of experience Administrative duty is preferred

  • 1 year of experience in benefits enrollment, handling, and processing

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a similar field preferred

  • Some Labor law and employment knowledge.

  • HR administration and people management abilities that are effective.

  • Knowledge of HR operations and best practices.

  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

  • Meets tight deadlines and works effectively under pressure.

  • Highly computer savvy, with experience with email, Gsuites, and other business and communication tools.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Capability to follow directions precisely.

  • Able to work on-site in Sacramento, CA.
