A Systems Engineer maintains the Intelinet Ticketing & Project Systems by Managing/Triaging support tickets, Assisting with Escalations from Tier 1 & 2 engineers, Managing Project Deployments and Configurations, Spearheading New Client Onboardings, and many other support rules in the organization.

Qualified candidates will have multiple years of experience and expertise in maintaining Windows based networks. Candidate needs to be technically strong and able to troubleshoot a variety of workstation, network, and server issues. Needs to have the ability to consistently manage various technologies and support the Intelinet Cloud Solution. This position works directly on customer networks and great communication skills is required.

CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco certifications are definitely a plus, and a willingness to continue training toward industry certifications is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, have excellent customer service skills, and integrity beyond reproach.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience

Experienced working remotely on customer networks

Thrives in a team environment

Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills

Multitasks in a fast paced environment

Strong troubleshooting and problem solver

Builds effective customer relationships

Windows 10 design, build, maintenance, and management

Server 2012+ maintenance, and management

Group Policy management

Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Powershell)

Strong understanding of virus and malware detection and cleaning technics

Application software installation, customization and distribution in a Windows environment.

Ability to administrate Active Directory

Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VLAN)

Configuration of routers, switches, wireless, and firewalls is a requirement

ConnectWise knowledge is a plus.

Monitor network performance and integrity

Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

Mentor team members on technical issues

Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability

Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.

Installing and configuring networking hardware.

Creating and implementing network security measures.

Conducting regular network performance tests.

Ability to administrate Exchange Server, Office 365, and troubleshoot client issues.

Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator

Solid background in network administration and architecture

In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)

Ability to administrate a ticketing system, triage tickets, and dispatch to the correct resource

Technical certifications preferred (A+, MCTS, VTSP, CCENT, or CCNA)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL INTELINET EMPLOYEES

Strong communication skills and ability to present to small/medium groups

Excellent customer relationship skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Willingness to learn ConnectWise PSA

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
