Position Summary
Servers' welcome guests andprovide them with an enjoyable dining experience. Responsibilities includeensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus andserving food and beverages.
Position Type and Expected Hoursof Work
This position could be eitherfull-time or part-time. All full-time positions are benefit eligible.Operational demands for this position require variations in shift days,starting times and hours worked in a week.
Essential Job Functions
•Prepare restaurant tables withspecial attention to sanitation and order.
•Attend to customers uponentrance.
•Present restaurant menus andhelp customers select food/beverages.
•Take and serve orders.
•Answer questions or makerecommendations for complementary products.
•Collaborate with otherrestaurant servers and kitchen.
•Deal with complaints orproblems with a positive attitude.
•Issue bills and accept payment.
Work Environment
This position will be located ata hotel and primarily work in the kitchen or restaurant/bar area.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands describedhere are representative of those that must be met by an employee with orwithout accommodation to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob.
•Frequently required to stand,walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach withhands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, orhear.
•Occasionally lift and/or moveup to 20 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 50lbs.
•Specific vision abilitiesrequired by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
•Ability to stand during theentire 8-hour shift.

Travel
No travel is expected for thisposition. Travel for annual training and conferences may be required.
Required Education and Experience
•Food handling certificate instates or counties where required.
•Proven restaurant serving orwaitering experience
•Hands-on experience in cashierduties
•Attention to cleanliness andsafety
•Patience and customer-orientedapproach
•Excellent people skills with afriendly attitude
•Must be fluent in English.
