This position is located in Beaverton, MI
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
This position will actively assist operators by providing support in resolving manufacturing problems and questions. The role will share responsibility with monitoring performance, maintaining process flow, and generating process improvements against losses. This role is also responsible for compiling, analyzing, and addressing department variances (Labor & Material)
Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.
Job Functions:
Monitors performance and achieves objectives related to safety, quality, environmental efficacy, timeliness and cost effectiveness of work within the department.
Drives continuous improvement and documents same utilizing ECN's, Kaizens (A3), Q-18's, PI's, etc.
Understand and consistently enforce company policies and practices.
Coach/Mentor Operators to improve quality and efficiency.
Responsible for Department variances (labor and material) by providing data and root cause analysis, closed loop troubleshooting, and training as necessary
Emergency back-up Operator for Production.

Minimum High School Diploma or GED; required.
2 Year Technical Degree or equivalent is preferred.
3-5 Years of Manufacturing, strong leadership skills, be a strategic thinker and have a good focus on profitability; preferred.
2 Years of Manufacturing experience is required.
Proficient in the use of computers and spreadsheet software with experience with business systems (QAD, Kronos, Microsoft Office); required.
Knowledge of products, equipment, and processes; required.
Able to receive and react appropriately to constructive criticism; required.
