Responsibilities

  • Product Development: Lead development and integration efforts that align with product roadmap and requirements. Ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  • Prototype Development: Lead research and prototyping efforts to unlock key enabling product features.
  • System Design & Component Selection: Collaborate with external vendors and partners, to perform component selection of several subsystems while ensuring cost and quality and COGs metrics are satisfied.
  • Procurement & Build Strategy: Define ConGlobals procurement and build strategy for one or more product lines. Perform build vs buy assessment. Lead efforts with third-party vendors and contract manufactures.
  • Engineering Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of cross-functional engineers.
  • Process Improvement: Continue to refine ConGlobals engineering processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in product development and engineering management roles, or a similar capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for building products that make a meaningful impact.
  • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Productboard.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change across cross-functional teams.
  • Must be located in either the Fort Worth, TX or Tampa, Florida areas.

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing products for logistics environments.
  • Experience developing products according to safety requirements and standards.

Location: Hybrid position in either Fort Worth, TX or Tampa, FL area.. Travel as needed, 25% anticipated with surges as needed.
