RESPONSIBILITIES
As the senior financial analyst supporting operations, you'll have a crucial role in providing financial planning and analysis support while ensuring standardization across the organization
Leading and supporting vital projects such as standard costing, ERP implementation, and data analytics, you'll act as a strategic partner, offering valuable insights and recommendations that are pivotal in shaping our financial direction
Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with site controllers and operations to assess profitability, assist in standard cost development and ERP integration, and utilize data analytics to uncover actionable insights
This role will be based at our global headquarters, as part of a high-performance team, reporting to the Director of Finance, Operations
Business partner to site controllers and operations to drive value creation
Assist with standard cost development and Oracle (ERP) system implementation
Provide support to build, analyze, and assess customer and product level profitability analysis to highlight and action margin improvement and growth strategies
Analyze the P&L and Balance Sheet and report the results through management discussion and analysis documentation, and monthly meetings
Update and maintain KPI's and business metrics
Assist site controllers and FP&A leadership with forecasting and annual budgets
Identify business problems and opportunities, and potential solutions to action
Assist the team to find cost savings, efficiency improvements, and implement growth opportunities
Support preparation of capital and investment decision analysis to evaluate the ROI and payback
Help the business prepare and drive process improvement and efficiency initiatives in finance, including developing more effective ways to evaluate the business and results
Provide support to establish data mining and automation techniques and systems that enable more efficient analysis
Assist with financial modeling of scenarios to make data driven decisions
Participate in special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar financial degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or cost analysis
Experience in Excel, Power BI or Tableau, to help analyze and assess the health of the business and to action financial results
