Phenom Yachts is seeking a Buyer who will research and select sourcing for supplies and services according to company needs, following outlined requirements. The Buyer ensures all purchases meet the required quality level at the lowest price possible while investigating cost reduction opportunities. The role also includes limiting waste and excess product on site.You Will Play a Key Role In:
  • Connecting with Vendors: Assist in service and parts-related calls, and find and compare prices from different vendors to ensure we get the best deals.
  • Streamlining Operations: Maintain appropriate files for parts billings, receipts, and other documents. Order parts and accessories via email, over the phone, and using software systems.
  • System Management: Manage changes within the ERP system and coordinate parts with the Sales team.
  • Inventory Oversight: Order and track inventory on hand, provide production with parts and ensure local part pick up.
  • Materials Handling: Receive materials, manage shipping and receiving, and participate in developing lean procedures, processes, and methods.
  • Supporting Our Mission: Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to our mission of delivering excellence.
We Are Looking for Someone With:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Preferred Education and Experience
  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering, or other related field
  • Knowledge of bar code technology and electronic data interchange
