Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure the production of safe and compliant consumer products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, regulatory compliance, and process improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leads, assigns and manages the activities of the Quality Assurance Department (e.g. Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, and Quality Technicians) to ensure optimal results in safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Trains, coaches and develops employees within the department to ensure performance expectations and department objectives are met according to established standards; manages performance expectations and delivers feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Responsible for management of our ISO 9001 quality management system including annual external audits and the internal audit program Prepares and distributes key performance metrics and trend reports related to the results of the Quality performance and communicates any areas of concern or risk. Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, facilities, and products to identify areas for improvement. Identifies, leads, and drives opportunities to improve quality systems and develop long-term strategies that support the success of the business. Interacts with customers and suppliers as a representative for KDC quality. Key contact for supplier or customer related audits Completes employee performance reviews, timecards, preliminary budgetary information, and other paperwork according to established company policy. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a science or other technical related field. Minimum of 5 years in a Quality Assurance role with experience in preparing or reviewing technical reports/documents. Experience with managing an ISO 9001:2015 Quality System. Experience with consumer products manufacturing. Minimum of 5 years previous supervisory experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite: FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA Safety Requirements; SAP Skill in solving problems analytically; prioritizing work to ensure deadlines are met; managing, coaching and developing others; being organized. Ability to: manage multiple and competing priorities; resolve difficult situations with no clear direction; adapt to change; develop and maintain good working relationships; lead and develop a high-performing team; develop and maintain processes and workflows; be detail-oriented; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a diverse group of individuals; present information to large and small groups to different levels across with organization and with customers; be organized and work quickly and efficiently with short deadlines; multi-task; read, comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions, including SOPs; work independently and as part of a team; operate a computer; wear required PPE as needed when walking through the facility. Other functions, skills and abilities may apply. Working Conditions and Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds manually. A climate-controlled office environment; the noise level is usually moderately quiet; however, the individual must be able to work for extended periods of time on the production floor where the noise level is moderately loud. Must be able to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, crouch, talk, hear, push and pull. Exposure to frequent movement of motorized equipment throughout the facility, including electric pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages and directs the work of up to 2 exempt employees and 11 non-exempt employees.
