Rate of pay: $48.00 – $75.00 depending on experience.

Requirements:
    • This is a hybrid position consisting of remote and in-office work located in Birmingham, AL
    • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with experience in site development and design
    • Minimum four (4) years of experience in site development and design
    • Experience that includes grading plan design, hydrology and stormwater management, design, roadway design, and erosion control planning and design associated with preparing construction drawings
    • Demonstrated ability to produce site development drawings and design documents including site grading plans, stormwater design, erosion control plans, specifications, stormwater calculations, and construction quantity estimates
    • Experience and solid understanding of survey data and how it is required to perform a site development design as related to producing construction plans
    • Experience and strong understanding of erosion control design
    • Knowledge of the requirements for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, Alabama Department of Environmental Management, and Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality for preparing erosion control plans
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
    • Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other similar software, for producing grading plans, site development construction drawings and other sitework related drawings and designs
    • Understanding in stormwater design using AutoCAD SSA (Storm and Sanitary Analysis), Hydraflow Hydrographs, Hydraflow Express, HY-8, or other similar stormwater management software
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team environment
    • This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
