About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Power BI Engineer with 6-10 years of experience to lead enterprise-level analytics deployments. This role will focus on building and optimizing data models, schemas, integration models, and BI visualizations for a large-scale environment with an $8 billion revenue base and over 1,000 users. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex Power BI deployments and a deep understanding of data management and visualization. Experience with Bitquery is a significant bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI solutions to support enterprise-level analytics across the organization.
  • Build and optimize data models, schemas, and integration models to ensure efficient and effective data management.
  • Develop and manage BI visualizations, including creating dynamic reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
  • Oversee ROS (Report Object Structures) development and access management to ensure data security and user accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure Power BI solutions align with business objectives.
  • Manage the publication and web deployment of BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they are accessible and functional for all users.
  • Leverage expertise in Power BI to provide guidance on best practices and optimize performance across the organization.
  • (Bonus) Utilize Bitquery to enhance data querying and analysis capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience with Power BI, specifically in enterprise-level analytics deployments.
  • Strong experience in building data models, schemas, integration models, and BI visualizations.
  • Proven ability to manage ROS, access management, and the publication of BI content.
  • Experience working in large-scale environments, ideally within companies with $1 billion+ in revenue.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Bitquery
  • Background in managing Power BI deployments in fast-paced, dynamic organizations.
