Job description: Finished Vehicle Logistics for our client in Ridgeville, SC. As a Buyer Finished Vehicle Logistics, you will collaborate with your global counterparts in EMEA and APAC to ensure the supply chain is optimized on both a global and regional level. This is a direct-hire opportunity. Shift Information 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Essential Functions Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive best-in-class levels of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Actively and drive and manage the 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process to optimize commodities and increase Return on Investment (ROI) Lead and execute Supplier negotiations and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) Create, implement, and continuously enhance Commodity Business Plans Create and nurture commercial relations with suppliers and internal stakeholders Be an agent for change and constantly challenge the status quo Present savings opportunities to executive management team Stay up to date on the latest market intelligence and technical trends for the commodities you are responsible for to evolve programs in line with constantly changing market conditions Operate per the companys Omtanke mindset and way of conducting business Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances Actively seek new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels Gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity Perform other tasks as required Qualifications: Required Education and Experience Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business and/or Engineering Finished vehicle/outbound logistics experience or equivalent Procurement experience or equivalent Change management expertise Expertise in presenting and interacting with Executive Management Project management software experience General Requirements Ability to multitask (ability to track, manage, and execute on identified strategy) Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Strong cognitive ability and willingness to challenge the status quo Advanced communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment Ability to operate with a high sense of urgency High levels of integrity and professionalism Enthusiastic and self-driven Complete and timely follow-through on commitments Why is This a Great Opportunity: Benefits Package Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k matching
