Responsibilities
The Senior Buyer of Finished Vehicle Logistics is responsible for managing the procurement and logistics of transporting finished vehicles from production facilities:
- Drive best-in-class level of Total Cost of Ownership
- Optimize commodities and increase ROI
- Lead & execute supplier negotiations and RFQs
- Create & implement Commodity Business Plans
- Nurture commercial relations with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Present savings opportunities to the executive management team
- Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure supply chain optimization
- Act as an agent for change
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Finished Vehicle / Outbound Logistics experience
- Procurement experience, or related work
- Expertise in Change Management
