Interacts with clients and internal personnel using various communication methods; ensures all relevant individuals are kept informed regarding custodianship transition; provides progress updates and relays relevant information as required. Confirms medical records are received in accordance with client contract and relevant department and company policies and procedures. Receives and responds to medical facility questions and concerns; provides resolution when possible or escalates to supervisor when the issue is beyond their knowledge or scope. Maintains HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of information. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening. Service-oriented with strong customer service skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Intermediate computer skills; experience using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute. Capability to follow HIPAA guidelines relative to sensitive document handling and destruction. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.
