Mechanical and Plumbing/Sprinkler Engineer M/P/SP
Requirements/Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited university degree in Engineering
Minimum of Working knowledge of plans, prints and specifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of design experience with working knowledge of mechanical, sprinkler and plumbing building systems (plans, prints, specifications)
Working experience with engineering programs, including AutoCAD MEP, Carrier HAP, HASS, and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication, people/customer skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations
Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining focus and calmness
Responsibilities
Perform heating and cooling load calculations using Carrier HAP Program
Perform plumbing and sprinkler piping calculations
Develop detailed design mechanical, sprinkler and plumbing drawings using AutoCAD MEP software
Review of engineering submittals
Post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings Perform field survey
