Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst will analyze ArcelorMittal's logistics processes, functions, and data. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills and be detail oriented. They must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize essential assignments. This person will support the Supply Chain Department with critical cost data in order to make rapid decisions. This person will observe all safety and environmental procedures required for compliant plant operations.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Know, understand, and follow all Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements.
  • Develop and implement relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to monitor and improve Supply Chain performance.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Control and track costs of logistics operations including freight, demurrage, and other logistics related costs.
  • Track and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Assist with documentation for CBP auditing.
  • Assist in the operation of a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).
  • Observes all Safety and Environmental Policies.
  • Participate in special projects that have influence on SCM Department as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in logistics or finance preferred.
  • Supply Chain experience preferred.
  • Customs and Trade Compliance experience preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Must be capable of reviewing and interpreting complex documents and texts.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally (up to 10%).
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC-card.
