Director Supply Chain Plant Operations

Together, our teammates create value in specialty care by aligning physicians, health plans and health systems around a common goal: delivering on the quadruple aim of high-quality outcomes and a better experience for patients and providers, all at a lower total cost of care.As part of Optum, we participate in an integrated care delivery system that enables us to support our partners as they navigate a complex healthcare environment, Only SCA Health has a dynamic group of physician-driven, specialty care businesses that allows us to customize solutions, no matter the need or challenge:We connect patients to physicians in new and differentiated ways as part of Optum and with our new Specialty Management Solutions business.We have pioneered a physician-led, multi-site model of practice solutions that restores physician agency by aligning incentives to support growth and transition to value-based care.We lead the industry in value-based payment solutions through our Global 1 bundled payment convener, that provides easy predictable billing to patients.We help physicians address everything beyond surgical procedures, including anesthesia and ancillary service lines.The new SCA Health represents who we are today and where we are goingand the growing career opportunities for YOU.Accountabilities / Responsibilities:Ensure necessary tools and equipment are available for the provision of patient care and plant operations; Participate in planning new services; Network with vendors to ensure availability of inventory items; Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Executive Officer to maintain excellent inventory control.Lead teams in a manner that exemplifies our organizational values of clinical quality (we are committed to outstanding patient care and clinical outcomes), integrity (we do what is right, no matter how difficult, without exception; we say what we mean, and we do what we say), service excellence (we seek to exceed the expectations of patients, physicians and each other in everything we do), teamwork (we work together, helping and supporting one another to make our Facilities, Departments, and all of SCA successful), accountability (we take complete, personal responsibility for our actions and commitments), continuous improvement (we seek to relentlessly improve our performance in every area clinical, operational, and financial constantly pushing ourselves to new heights), inclusion (creating an inclusive environment and ensuring each teammate feels they belong).Meets or exceeds established annual goals.Provide overall leadership and direction to Supply Chain/Plant Operations/Life Safety staff and contracted vendors and other resourcesEnsure training of staff in the operation and maintenance of plant operations equipment/systems/vendor maintenance schedules.Facilitate operational planning including any large building maintenance and construction projectsReview established preventative maintenance programs for the physical plant to ensure a continuity of operation and ensure life safety measures are upheld.Act as alternate to Plant Operations Manager for response to emergency equipment malfunction events. Direct actions to stabilize and document incidents appropriately.Establish compliance with safety codes and other regulations. Ensure the facility operates in accordance with hospital policies and complies with all authorities having jurisdiction including but not limited to PA DOH, JCAHO, OSHA, CMSProvide leadership and oversight of the Emergency Operations Plan and Emergency Management processesPartner with CNO to lead in the design and development of specific emergency plans, preparation, response and recover including management of required drills and documentationPrioritize utilization of resources while maintaining patient safety/life safety expectations.Participates in new service planning.Participates in unit and organizational process improvement activities.Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Executive Officer to maintain excellent inventory control; Collaborates with health care team members in a professional and respectful manner.Responds in a timely and appropriate manner to all recall notices in collaboration with the Patient Safety Officer.Communicates in an effective, professional, and respectful manner with patients, families, physicians, coworkers, vendors, and other members of the health care team.Assume a visible and contributing role within the community by demonstrating ASHs commitment to the local area with charitable organizations.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:EDUCATION : Bachelors degree required.LICENSURE : None required.EXPERIENCE : Previous experience in purchasing and/or materials management preferred.Min:USD $85,000.00/Yr.Max:USD $(phone number removed)/Yr.#J-18808-Ljbffr
