Job Description:
  • The Credit & Price Risk Control team directly supports Markets & Securities Services globally.
  • Our goal is to establish and maintain a robust 1st Line of Defense control environment and culture to minimize operational risk within the business.
Responsibilities:
  • Investigating and resolving Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk; Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting.
  • Providing regular management updates and status reports.
  • Participation in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks.
  • Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management
Requirements:
  • Risk and Control is looking for a highly energized individual with knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • The successful candidate will support the Volcker program and requirements under the rule.
  • The supplier will provide an SME resource with a strong background in the Regulatory space. Key Responsibilities include:

Qualification:
  • 5-8 years relevant experience working in a front office or operations support environment or in a consulting or project management capacity with a similar remit
  • Strong financial markets product knowledge across multiple asset classes
  • Must possess excellent written and communications skills and show comfort interfacing with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology
  • Strong investigation and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and ability to work under tight deadline pressures across multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Sound understanding of the Volcker Rule
  • Adherence to monthly and quarterly deadlines for certain tasks
