Automation Engineer

Job Description Job Description Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to be responsible for working on a team to design and integrate high-tech robotics with our injection molding production work cells. Excellent career opportunity.Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise for mechanical, electrical and programmable logic controllers.Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control automation project.Evaluate, trouble shoot, analyze and determine process improvements.Coordinate and communicate between various areas; train staff as needed.Prepare a plan to re-design and present such design ideas and changes for approval along with estimated costs of such projects.Work with Engineering on all new tool designs in order to prepare new mold EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) for part removal and associated tooling.Responsible for automation projects including layout of Conveyor / Camera / Sorting / Inspection and Part Separation / Quality improvement automation.Prepare Bill of Materials of products / parts / components required to complete automation design.Follow the organization's policies as well as any applicable laws while carrying out any of their duties.Requirements1.
