Job Description:

Preparation of monthly management account reporting with full year forecast

Presentation of monthly financial results to management

Assisting with preparation of annual budgets

Managing of annual audits to ensure that audit deadlines are met

Implimentation and maintenance of company procedures

Assisting with daily cashflow planning

Reviewing of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

Identifying possible financial control weaknesses and making suggestions for improvements

Maintenance of master data in Microsoft Navision (chart of accounts, item codes, VAT setups, etc)

Submitting six monthly staff performance appraisals

Plan and budget staff according to seasonal requirements

Plan and manage staff leave in accordance with operational and statutory requirements

Manage recruitment and retention of the best candidates

Manage forex payments and transactions to minimise forex risk

Approve administrative overhead expenses

Review vendor reconciliations to identify potential threats or outstanding transactions

Ensure accuracy and completeness of income

Continuously drive efficiencies within the finance function

Qualifications:

5 Years financial management experience

B.Com degree - CA(SA) would be advantageous

Experience in Agriculture/Logistics/Production will be beneficial
