Our client's company is a well-respected Insurance agency that provides both personal and commercial lines of insurance. They pride themselves on offering tailored insurance solutions and exceptional customer service to maintain long-lasting relationships with their clients. With a primary focus on commercial insurance in recent years, they are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in handling phone inquiries and managing policy changes for both commercial and personal clients. This role is particularly focused on commercial accounts, where you will handle certifications, proofs of insurance, and pending cancellations.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and an eagerness to maintain and develop client relationships through personalized service, which is why their clients remain loyal. You will be expected to manage 6-17 calls daily, ensuring that each interaction is handled promptly and professionally. Additionally, you will assist in cross-selling efforts, with the opportunity to earn a 50% commission on cross-sells to existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Handle 6-17 phone calls daily, addressing inquiries and making policy changes for both personal and commercial clients.
  • Focus on commercial insurance clients, managing certifications, proofs of insurance, and pending cancellations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain and strengthen client relationships.
  • Respond to client calls promptly, ensuring the phone is answered within three rings.
  • Collaborate with the team to divide tasks related to pending cancellations and ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist in cross-selling additional services such as umbrella insurance and auto coverage to existing clients.
  • Implement personalized campaigns and communications to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure all client interactions are handled with professionalism and a personal touch, prioritizing client needs over internet leads.
Qualifications
  • Must have a valid Property and Casualty (P&C) license.
  • Proven experience in customer service, particularly in insurance, with a focus on commercial lines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Competent and reliable, with a customer-service-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proactive and responsive, with the ability to pick up calls promptly and ensure client satisfaction.
