The Entry Level Events Assistant will support the planning and execution of various company events, including product launches, client meetings, and internal gatherings. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in event coordination, offering the opportunity to learn the intricacies of event planning and management. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Salary range:

$1150 - $1350 /week

THIS WILL BE AN OFFICE JOB AND CANDIDATES MUST WORK IN THE OFFICE WITHIN THE NEXT 3 WEEKS

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of events, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Support the Events Coordinator in planning event timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Communicate with vendors, venues, and other third parties to ensure event needs are met.
  • Help with event setup, including arranging dcor, seating, and audiovisual requirements.
  • Manage event registrations, guest lists, and attendee communications.
  • Assist in the preparation of promotional materials and event-related communications.
  • Provide on-site support during events, handling any issues that arise.
  • Gather feedback post-event and assist in compiling reports to assess event success and areas for improvement.
  • Support administrative tasks related to event planning, including scheduling meetings and managing event files.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
