services to cities that help governments improve the quality of life of their citizens. BA works across nine (9) different focus areas: Cultural Assets Management, Marketing & Communications, Media and Digital Strategies, Municipal Integrity, Social Services, Sustainability, Transportation, Economic Development and Urban Planning, with teams that have deep subject matter

expertise

and extensive experience in municipal government. Position Description Our Social Services practice is looking at add an energetic Project Manager to

lead

a portfolio of projects

and

provid

ing

mentorship and direct consulting to mayors and their senior leaders

across human services including

justice reform,

overcoming systemic disparities for people of color



pa

rticularly

youth, and

addressing underlying determinants of health and well-being in their cities. In this role you will use your practical experience to review, analyze and craft

recommendations in

implementing and sustaining system change practices and policies in alignment with

the

city's

goals

.

You will serve as a core member of

the Social Services

team, working in close collaboration with your fellow teammates and colleagues across the organization to

provide

innovative, high quality advisory services and support to client cities. The

role

is based in New York City and, in the future, will require regular travel. Key Responsibilities Leading day-to-day program engagement with several client cities; including communicating, influencing and collaborating with partner cities on project goals and updates that result in meaningful change Creating consensus that leads to action Supporting client cities in the management of cross-sector and multi-agency collaborations Supporting in the design and implementation of governance structures Conducting research and analysis in policy/program development

focused on reducing barriers and supporting the success of

marginalized populations Synthesize findings and write effective communications in the form of engagement proposals, graphics, briefings, PowerPoint presentations, memos and reports for a variety ofaudiences Advancing implementation in collaboration with client cities on selected policy/program ideas

as well as c

llaborating across the entirety of BA to ensure transparency of

projects Support

ing

the development, implementation, and management of strategies for measuring and tracking

the

outcomes of initiatives D

eveloping compelling reports on case studies for client cities C

onducting data analysis in support of client city initiatives Partnering with colleagues to assist with new and/or ongoing program initiatives as part of the broader Social Services portfolio Required Skills

experience working in support of marginalized populations

working effectively with diverse partners, including elected and appointed officials, community stakeholders and content experts Bachelor's degree

required

master's

degree in business, nonprofit management, public policy, urban planning, or a related field preferred A commitment, coupled with hands-on experiences, working in support of creating equity Excellent project management skills with the ability to independently coordinate and lead multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality and project follow-through Track record of creating data driven reports, memos and presentations; with a sharp eye for detail Excellent written and oral communication skills

to synthesize information and develop compelling narratives Creative problem-solving

including an ability to grasp key issues and make recommendations for improvements Experience
