Blue Cross of Idaho Health Service is seeking an experienced and skilled Manager, Corporate Development to join our team. As the Manager, Corporate Development, you will play a crucial role in leading and driving the pivotal initiatives that align with our growth and expansion goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior executives, legal teams, financial advisors, and various business partners to successfully execute transactions that will shape our strategic decision-making.

This position reports to the VP, Strategy and is located in Meridian, Idaho or a mutually agreeable location. Hybrid work schedule is supported. #LI-Hybrid

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with different teams and leaders to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities, and develop due diligence and execution plans accordingly.

Drive the entire corporate development process, including the exploration, evaluation and execution of joint ventures, acquisitions, alliances, investments, and commercialization of services. This includes conducting financial analysis and collaborating with both internal and external teams.

Develop comprehensive financial models and perspectives on valuation for select transactions.

Coordinate with relevant parties to successfully negotiate and complete pursued transactions.

Partner with financial, operating, and strategic leadership to develop and implement integration plans, establish critical metrics, and measure performance.

Interact with external venture, CVC, and M&A communities to enhance our credibility and network.

Support post-transactional integrations and governance needs, including potential participation as a board observer.

Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 7 years' experience in corporate development, private equity, or venture capital investments

Excellent negotiation, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, effective planning, valuation techniques, and structuring of deals

Proven ability to successfully lead complex projects independently and in cross-functional teams

Intellectual curiosity and hunger to learn and collaborate

Comfortability and flexibility to travel as needed
