Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Grant Writer, Fund Raiser, Project Manager, and Marketer for Battery Development Work. This person will be responsible for grant administration, proposal writing, grant research, fundraising activities, technical project management, and company marketing activities related to battery development projects.


This role could also grow into a strategic business development, marketing, and investor relationship type role as well.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Grant Administration, Grant Research, Proposal Writing, and Grant Writing skills
  • Experience in fundraising with venture capital, angels, home offices, corporate ventures, etc
  • MBA or equivalent experience
  • Experience creating techno-economic analysis
  • Experience creating GHG modeling
  • Experience with customer analysis, market segmentation, competitive analysis, supply chain / market ecosystem development, product/market fit, risk & mitigation analysis
  • Experience in Project Finance
  • Experience in Government Affairs / Help w lobbying to sway policy in our direction
  • Experience in tradeshow marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills
  • Experience in the energy or battery industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field


Additional Details / Terms

We are making great progress and looking for folks who believe in our technology, vision, and future based on the traction we have so far. We are a bootstrapped early-stage company and would like a large part of the compensation to be contingent based and equity based. This role is not starting fro scratch as we have applied to many grants already and have many in progress. We also have met with many investors who are interested once we have good results from our battery.
