Hospital Nursing Supervisor - PER DIEM

SUMMARY OF JOB:

During appropriate shifts is designated and authorized to oversee clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery in relation to the established plan of the respective clinical area, thereby providing continuity in decision-making and consistency in Nursing Practice. Assures that nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards are adhered to and that specific department objectives are met. Acts as a resource and support person for the nursing staff and acts as a liaison for the activities of other support staff coordinators. Represents Hospital Administration during any incidents occurring on shift.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Registered and currently licensed as a Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania.
Able to effectively communicate both orally and in written form.
Demonstrate appropriate level of management skills.
BSN
CPR certification required.
ACLS preferred.

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Registered and currently licensed as a Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania.
