We are searching for an Accounting Clerk to perform complex clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting assignments and prepare accounting statements and financial reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares financial reports and various accounting statements.
  • Accounts Payable
  • Maintains and managed all weekly check runs.
  • Proper timely invoice entry
  • Three-way matching
  • 1099 retrieve and end of year filing.
  • ST-10 Tax exempt
  • Sales & Use tax filing
  • Posts journal entries to general ledger.
  • Assist on financial statement consolidation for internal leadership and external requirements.
  • Processes payroll and prepares necessary payroll reports.
  • Auditing Expense reimbursement
  • Maintains monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepaid, Fixed Assets, Depreciation
  • Assist with budget preparation accurately and timely.
  • Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc
  • Participate directly in external audits.
  • Maintain account balances and bank statement reconciliation.
  • Assist with month end / Qtr end/ year end close processes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • QuickBooks Online preferred not required.
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and give recommendations based on available data.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial guidelines and regulations
  • Collaboration and teamwork

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with steady progression of responsibility
