We look for colleagues who Care, Dare and Deliver.Job SummaryThe Maintenance Reliability Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of equipment within an organization. They focus on minimizing failures, optimizing maintenance practices, and enhancing overall reliability.Essential FunctionsDetermine the most effective maintenance practices for specific equipment or equipment types.Utilize Pareto Charts to identify and analyze equipment failures, prioritizing maintenance functions and equipment improvements.Utilize failure mode and effects analysis and risk analysis techniques to develop the most cost-effective maintenance strategies for all system components.Monitor performance of all equipment systems to determine the effectiveness of the Maintenance Strategies. Upgrade preventive, predictive programs as indicated by performance data.Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures.Develop strategies to prevent recurrence of failures.Implement risk assessment and risk mitigation methodologies (such as FMEA, RCA, or RCM).Lead change in equipment risk management and reliability processesReview and analyze engineering designs and propose design modifications to achieve reliability and efficiency.Evaluate, recommend, and acquire tools for use, including process analysis software, and other physical tools and resources specific to reliability and maintenance improvement.Collaborate with production personnel and other departments to gather information and draft reports, and improve equipment, processes, and products.Create test parameters and participate in the testing and implementation of engineering solutions.Establish continuous improvement plans where efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improved.Lead teams by skillfully managing group discussion, problem solving, and decision making.Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standards.Follow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Manage, prioritize, and complete projects or programs of moderate size, scope, and duration.Coordinate project work with other engineers, technicians, designers and/or or draftersDevelop, implement, and maintain a life cycle asset management process for components, equipment, and processes at all facilities.Assemble relevant data, a cross-functional review team and facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance studies to develop Maintenance Strategies for the selected systems.Job QualificationsMS Office 2010 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacyExcellent written and oral communication skillsMust be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude.Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy.Must have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.Sharp, quick, dedicated, and innovative problem solverCore values and continuous self-improvementMust be organized, detail oriented, and able to think designs through completely.Understanding of reliability and improvement concepts, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve Control.Proficiency in project management related to equipment reliability.CertificationsISO, II, CAT, CBM, M&RE, 9000, CMRP, CI, CHMM, or NEBOSHRequiredBachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical), Science, or Technical fields. Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred.3 to 5 years of process industry related experience with automation control, PLC Ladder Logic programming, HMI design and configure.Familiarity with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), LEAN principles, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance).EnvironmentOffice work area is a climate-controlled environment.
