Resident Services Manager

Walker Methodist River Heightsis recruiting for an experienced Resident Services Manager to assist resident and family communication. Assistance may include physical and psycho-social needs, one-to-one visits, schedulingcare conferences, resident or family meetings, providing resources, and connections to community resources and education. This position willwork closely with all department directorsto provide quality resident support services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services-oriented field such as social work, psychology, gerontology or health care administration
- Two to five years experience in coordinating services to meet the physical, social and emotional needs ofresidents in a housing or long-term care setting
- Working knowledge of community services for older adults, to performcare conferences and discharge planning
- Commitment and skill toappropriately and professionally advocate for residents and families
- Ability toeffectively collaborate with other disciplines, corporate staff and the community
- Demonstrate strongplanning and problem-solving skills and writing ability
- Intermediate computer skills andelectronic health record systems experience
- Ability to lead the team in Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles
