Job Overview

The Accounting Head is responsible for/in:

The Accounting Head plays a pivotal role in the accounting management and strategic decision-making processes of RRDC.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Accounting Head oversees all aspects of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Accounting Head collaborates closely with internal stakeholders across various departments and functions, providing financial insights and guidance to support business objectives and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support decision-making processes and drive profitability.

Budgeting:

Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic budgets and financial targets.

Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure adherence to financial plans.

Provide guidance and support to departmental managers in managing their budgets effectively.

Financial Reporting:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies in financial reporting.

Communicate financial performance and insights to senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders.

Risk Management:

Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor financial risks.

Conduct risk assessments and scenario analysis to anticipate potential risks and develop contingency plans.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage risks effectively and safeguard the organization's financial assets.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Promote knowledge sharing and best practices to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

13th month salary

Ability to commute/relocate:

Santa Rosa City, Laguna: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

25% (Preferred)
