POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Sr Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications by following development standards and best practices and being a highly communicative, collaborative team-player.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years software engineering experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL required.
Experience designing backend processing systems that include high volume transactions.
Experience designing and developing transaction SQL databases with millions of records.
Experience designing Windows Services.
Demonstrate an understanding of C# .Net MVC web applications.
Experience developing C# .Net Web API services utilizing JSON and XML formats.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply various programming techniques and processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in cross-functional project teams that execute high-impact technology builds, engagements, and transformations delivering solutions on or ahead of schedule.
Create technical designs that thoroughly map out how a solution will be built.
Design, Develop, and Maintain software applications by following development standards and best practices.
Build robust unit tests, integration tests, and deployment scripts.
Use Microsoft .NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, MVC, and SQL in various development activities
Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
Model and foster behaviors that support the Banks values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required.
Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings and weekends.
Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
