Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer at eBlu Solutions, you will work with Operations, Product, and QA to assist in building the flagship eBlu Solutions Provider Portal and Staff Portal. The Senior Software Engineer will require coding, designing, testing, and participation in project meetings for feature-level initiatives of the portals. Our provider portal provides practices with a single place for Insurance Benefits Verification, Electronic Prior Authorization, and Savings Program management. Our goals are to create a more automated process to ensure faster patient care for the healthcare providers we support. You'll be joining the ground floor of a thriving patient-focused business, offering vast potential for career advancement.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful completion of feature-level user stories
  • Be involved with planning releases, as well as architecting and assisting in implementing features
  • Create feature-level documentation to be shared by all software engineers and other stakeholders
  • Provide project team support to junior engineers and assist other senior engineers in structuring standards, best practices, and procedures for delivering the solution successfully
  • Contribute technically to feature-level initiatives and assist other senior engineers in providing technical direction
  • Manages quality assurance by reviewing and testing peer and junior-level work and providing feedback in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to understand our business and the impacts of technology on the business
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and interns
Requirements:

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of full stack experience in .NET Core, C#, Angular, Node.JS, Typescript, and object-oriented programming
  • 2+ years of mentoring others
  • Experience with Agile processes.
  • Experience with Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes, or equivalent cloud architecture
  • Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, or other ORMs
  • Familiarity with SOLID and DRY concepts
  • Full stack experience

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug code
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to complete sprint goals
  • Ability to learn new technologies and apply them to the business
  • Ability to listen effectively and seek clarification
  • Ability to present complex data
  • Provide and welcome positive, constructive feedback
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong English language grammar skills
  • Strong inquisitive, design, and problem-solving skills

Recommended Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience/knowledge

Preferred experience, skills, and abilities:

  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud application architectures
  • Prior experience with ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, & JavaScript
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry
  • Understanding of security best practices and defensive programming techniques
  • Understanding of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD10 coding
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development
