The team
As a part of Product Engineering Services practice, we are looking for talented ETL Informatica & Java Developer to join us to contribute to practice initiatives and keep current in the latest technology developments in the Cloud and Product Engineering space.
The role
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data integration, performance tuning, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality solutions.
Role and responsibilities:
* ETL Expertise: Proven experience in end-to-end ETL processes, demonstrating proficiency in extracting, transforming, and loading data efficiently.
* Informatica PowerCenter: Strong command of Informatica PowerCenter tools and features, including the ability to design and optimize mappings and workflows.
* SQL Development: Solid skills in SQL development, including the creation of complex queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data manipulation.
* Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS): Thorough understanding of RDBMS concepts and hands-on experience with various databases.
* Data Quality Assurance: Implementation of best practices for ensuring data quality within ETL processes, including thorough testing and validation.
* Data Integration: Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data integration solutions.
* Performance Tuning: Experience in identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in both ETL processes and database queries.
What you'll bring
Mandatory Skills:
* ETL/Informatica Developer proficient in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
* Key skills include SQL development, data quality assurance, and a solid understanding of relational database management systems.
* Should have strong experience with Java, Angular, Spring framework, and involved in Java development projects.
* Should have experience with AWS cloud and working with JBoss server.
* Should have good experience in Java coding standards, OOP and SOA principles.
* Should have good working experience on Agile methodology
* Should have experience on ServiceNow/JIRA tools
* Experience with Shell Scripting, Python and Power BI will be added advantages.
As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $125k-$140k base+ bonus.
The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
