Stevinson Toyota West is seeking a Parts Driver to join their team.

Previous dealership experience is helpful.

Compensation:$16.00-$18.00 based on experience

Work Hours: Full Time schedule as defined

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary

Delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership.

Duties and responsibilities

* Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. * Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries. * Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up. * Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery. * Unloads truck each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts. * Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed. * Helps with stocking.

Skills and requirements

* High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) * Previous Delivery Driver Experience is helpful * English language required (bilingual is a plus) * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. * Valid Driver's License with a driving record allowing insurability by Company's insurance company. * Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes and weather situations. * Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug.) * Must be at least eighteen years of age. * Applications will be accepted and candidates evaluated on an ongoing basis until the position is filled
