Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
The Infectious Disease (ID) Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at preventing and controlling infectious diseases within a designated population or community. The ID Program Manager will work under the general guidance/supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for strategic management, coordination with healthcare professionals and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with public health regulations and guidelines.
Essential Responsibilities:
Program Development and Implementation:
- Design and develop comprehensive infectious disease prevention and control programs within CFHC Clinics.
- Implement strategies to monitor and reduce the incidence of infectious diseases.
- Develop educational materials and outreach initiatives to raise awareness and educate the public about infectious disease prevention.
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
- Advocate for the needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data related to infectious diseases.
- Use data to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
- Prepare and present reports on program outcomes to stakeholders and funding agencies.
- Work closely with healthcare providers, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts and resources.
- Foster partnerships and collaboration to enhance program reach and impact.
- Manage program budgets, resources, and personnel effectively.
- Identify funding opportunities and assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts.
- Supervise and support program staff, providing training and professional development as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in public health, Epidemiology, Nursing, or a related field (master's degree in public health, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field, preferred) or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public health or infectious disease program management.
- Experience with grant writing and fund development preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, EPIC/Athena

Requirements
Education and Experience
