ResponsibilitiesUse of diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes and other test instruments Interpret electrical schematics, understanding technical manuals, and following written instructions Remove, repair and reassemble machine components, including hydraulic and electro-mechanical Performing preventative and predictive maintenance Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up and installation Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work Interface with all departments and other personnel in an effective and efficient manner Self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task Positively interface with fellow employees and customers in difficult situations Contribute to the company and your team by identify and communicate project improvements opportunities Follow company process and procedures to comply with ISO and AS9100 standards Follow basic shop housekeeping rules, leaving work areas in a clean and orderly manner General facility preventative and repair maintenance Follow all company safety practices and rules Authority to perform all tasks/activities responsible for Basic QualificationsAt least three years of experience as a manufacturing plant Mechanical Maintenance Technician trouble shooting, maintaining and repairing industrial machines Experience with Siemens 840D, and/Fanuc Controls and Drives IME (Industrial Moving Equipment) License Experience in PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesSkilled in:Able to express basic electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in electrical and mechanical maintenance work assignments Solid mechanical aptitude of complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements Able to read and interpret blueprints Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving capabilities Strong verbal and written communications skills An analytical and detail-oriented personality The knowledge of conventional welding, carpentry and plumbing Must be capable of working efficiently and effectively at any shift such as days or weekends, including irregular and unscheduled hours, if required for machine breakdown and time sensitive projects
