Job DetailsJob LocationHiller Chesapeake - Chesapeake, VADescriptionThe Hiller Companies, a national leader in the fire protection and security industry, is hiring for Fire Sprinkler Estimator.Job Summary: The Fire Sprinkler Estimator is responsible for estimating costs for both labor and materials for new construction, tenant improvement, and retrofit of fire sprinklers into commercial buildings. They are responsible for promoting and selling the fire sprinkler system for each application, while providing excellent customer service and completing turnovers in a timely manner. This position is accountable for achieving sales goals and desired revenues by performing the following duties.Job Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the General Contractor market.Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.Estimate/Quote/Close sprinkler installation projects.Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and other sales strategies.Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.Attend site visits to assess project fire sprinkler needs and offer appropriate solutions.Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers regarding fire protection systems, equipment, and compliance with industry regulations.Collaborate with internal teams, such as designers, project managers and foreman, to ensure smooth turnover and execution of projects.Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for management review.Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions as necessary.Other duties as assigned.Hiller is a drug-free workplace, an equal opportunity employer and ADA compliant. Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.Great customer service skills.Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills.Ability to effectively present and communicate technical information to clients.Must have good teamwork capabilities.Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
