About the job Licensed Physical Therapist Position OverviewWe are looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their mobility and overall quality of life. This role is based in a Primary Care Office, where you will work closely with healthcare providers to treat patients experiencing conditions or medical issues that affect their ability to move and perform daily activities.Key Responsibilities:Deliver care and interventions as outlined in the treatment plans developed by healthcare providers.Educate and guide patients and their caregivers on exercise routines to support recovery.Assess patient needs with compassion, demonstrating empathy for individual circumstances.Recommend treatment options, adjustments, or modifications to ensure patient safety, comfort, and progress.Apply the latest research to restore function, reduce symptoms, and prevent further injury.Maintain accurate documentation to ensure proper delivery of physical therapy services.Collect relevant data to provide thorough and accurate patient information.Monitor and document patient performance and progress in their medical records.Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in physical therapy.Stay updated on advancements in the field through continued education.Qualifications:Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.Strong knowledge of physiological best practices and standards.Proficiency in conducting physical therapy evaluations, developing treatment plans, and executing interventions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient instruction and collaboration.Experience in healthcare administration and documentation processes.Valid Physical Therapy license or relevant certification.Ability to lift over 40 lbs.Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices in physical therapy.Background checks required.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceLicense/Certification:Physical Therapy License (Required)
